Pet care experience
Since I was a kid, I have loved animals and volunteered to help care for friends' and families’ pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles, fish, and even farm animals! I've been doing Rover since 2019, and have cared for hundreds of dogs, cats, and more critters, so I have lots of experience with pets of all ages and breeds! I also worked for 2 years at the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, caring for baby ducklings, injured seabirds and songbirds, raccoons, and other small mammals.

Jaron is such a patient walker with my 9 month old pitbull puppy. They followed all the instructions on how to engage and Oogi loves their company so much. Very timely, patient and adaptable. So glad that they will be a regular walker for Oogi.
Second time we’ve used Jaron and he’s wonderful. Takes such good care of our GoldenDoodle and the house. Always kept us up to date and sent pics/videos everyday.
Unreliable Dog Sitter | Neglectful and Disrespectful Treatment Review: Disappointed with Jaron’s care for my dogs. Failed to follow feeding schedule, lacked connection with my pets, and displayed rude behavior. Disregarded home boundaries. Dogs were left unhappy and scared. My encounter with Jaron was nothing short of disappointing. Not only did he neglect my pets' feeding schedules and act disrespectfully disregard my instructions but he also resorted to deceiving tactics. Despite my pets' ability to convey emotions through their eyes, tails, and behavior, he sent short videos and photos, aiming to misrepresent the actual activities and conditions in my home. This manipulative behavior resulted in my pets feeling sadness, fear, and discomfort. As a responsible pet owner, I had to cut my trip short due to these distressing circumstances. Warning others against the false facade presented by Jaron , I strongly urge pet owners to seek more trustworthy care options. Prematurely ended trip due to stress caused. Cannot recommend Jaron.
Jaron was wonderful with our fur-baby Lakota. She can be very slow to warm up to new people, while also being a very intense Aussi. Jaron's calm and quiet disposition really brought out the best in her by the end of the week. I felt very confident and comfortable with his service and look forward to using him again in the future.

I like to take the time to meet each owner and pet before the sitting/walking to learn about their individual personalities and how to care for them. I am also able to do doggy daycare for up to 5 hours, however, it would have to be at the your house.

A few important things I'd like to know about your pup: - Their daily schedule including important info such as feeding, meds, allergies, potty breaks, walks, etc - Are they friendly to other dogs and any other triggers such as cats, people, loud noises, mailmen, etc - Likes/dislikes - Commands they know - Anything else useful that you'd think I should know
A typical day
I usually have at least 1-3 other walks per day, so if they are dog-friendly and need the extra exercise, I'm happy to take them along and get them extra tired! Most days around noon, I take a pup to the Pacifica doggy park for an hour of fun play! Otherwise, I'm able to take them out earlier in the morning, later in the afternoon, and/or at night depending on their needs/energy levels, and on weekends, we can maybe do a day trip such as a hike!

I recently graduated college and moved home, so my current schedule is very flexible! My schedule has been filling up quickly, but feel free to send a message and we can work out a time to meet and care for your fur baby!
