There are many reasons pet-parents search for a pet sitter and I provide different services to try to accommodate your needs. Whether you work long hours, go away on business often, your huge family is visiting, or you are planning a relaxing vacation--Canine Getaway has an option that is right for you and your pup! Many people are hesitant to put their animal in a kennel and I don’t blame them. Kennels cage your animal and provide minimum activities for your dog during their stay. At Canine Getaway, your pup will stay in a warm, clean environment just like your own home and will have plenty of socialization and activities to keep them engaged and active during their getaway. Providing pet services is my business and we are registered and DBA as Canine Getaway. I am also fully licensed with Anne Arundel County Animal Control and receive annual inspections to ensure I am in compliance with any laws and regulations. Reservations work in much the same way as a Hotel in that they are made on a first come, first served basis. Space is reserved only after you pay for the reservation. Booking early ensures your pup a space. I do give established clients priority over new clients. BOARDING - 24 hour period After an initial meeting to make sure our pups get along, your dog will be ready for their getaway! When you visit you will see that I have over an acre of land which backs up to the Magothy River and that the property is secured by an 8 foot fence. There is plenty of space to run or sun. On hot days, we pull out the kiddie pool for the pups to splash around in. We have plenty of activities to stay busy! Your pup is my priority and will enjoy nearly 24 hour supervision. It always makes my day to hear a pet-parent say, "I don't think they're going to want to come home!" Additionally, you will stay connected with your pup with a picture each day showing you just how much fun and relaxation they are having. But the best part is that your pup will stay in my home where they will have the same comforts, love and attention that they experience in your own home. Boarding is for a 24 hour period beginning when your dog checks-in. Rates - Rates Fluctuate according to market demand. Peak Season is Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day Weekend. Puppy Rate - Add $5 Holiday Rate - Add $5 Walk Add-on - $10 per 30 minutes Extend Time - $5 per hour or the Daycare Rate, whichever is less. Holiday & Puppy Rates apply. DAYCARE - 12 hour period Daycare is helpful to those pet-parents who work long hours or for those long shopping days when you feel guilty leaving your pup home alone all day. Your dog will hangout with my boarding dogs and enjoy all the same activities. You will stay connected with your pup with a picture each day showing you just how much fun they are having. Daycare is for up to 12 hours from the time your dog checks-in not to surpass business hours. Puppy Rate - Add $5 per day Holiday Rate - Add $5 per day Walk Add-on - $10 per 30 minutes Extend Time - $5 per hour or the Boarding Rate, whichever is less. Holiday & Puppy Rates apply. HOME VISITS I will travel to your home to care for your pet. No pet is too small or too big. This is a good option for pet snakes, hamsters, cats and other common pets. This service includes letting the animal outside to use the bathroom, cleaning bedding/cage, filling water and food dishes. The Rover app will track the visit and you will be able to see pics of your animal. I can also do a bit of housekeeping that includes bringing in your mail, taking trash to the curb and recovering the cans and I can also bring any packages inside that have been delivered in your absence. First Dog Rate - $18 per 30 minute visit Additional Pet - Deduct $5 Cat Rate - $15 per visit for 15 minutes Puppy Rate - Add $5 per pet Holiday Rate - Add $5 per pet Bath - $10 Mail, Packages, Trash Add-on - Add $3 per visit WALKING (within 20 miles of my home) I will travel to your home to walk your dog. Usually, we will walk in your neighborhood, but if I have other dog walks in the area, we will travel to a central location like a park or hiking trail and walk as a pack. The Rover mobile app will track our walk with GPS and you will be able see pictures of your pup enjoying his daily walk. I also bring in any packages that have been delivered while you’re at work which is especially helpful with prepared meal delivery services. Rate - $16 per 30 min walk Additional Dog - $11 per 30 min walk Puppy Rate - Add $5 per walk Holiday Rate - Add $5 per walk BATHS After a few days romping around with a pack of dogs in the sand and mud, your dog may need a bath. I can provide a simple no-frills bath for a reasonable price at my home. Baths can be combined with travel service and I will travel to your home and provide a bath. Rate - $10 per bath Puppy Rate - Add $5 Holiday Rate - Add $5 TRANSPORT/TRAVEL (within 20 mile radius of my home) There are many reasons pet-parents may need transport services for their animals. If you work many hours, you may need pet transport services to make your life more convenient. Whether you’re looking for transport to the vet clinic or to a friend or family member’s house--or to my house for boarding services, I can provide that service for you. Rate - $10 one way Additional Pet - $5 one way Puppy Rate - Add $5 per pet Holiday Rate - Add $5 per pet OTHER RATES Hourly Rate - $5 - to extend check-in/check-out times past normal hours. Not to exceed a daycare rate if picked up before close of business or boarding rate for a additional nights. Meal Rate - $3 per meal. In case you forget to pack a meal or two or if you just want the convenience, the meal rate will be charged in a separate invoice. Your dog will be fed a high quality grain-free, fish-free kibble. ***I do not handle or board Pit Bulls or "Bully" breeds due to stipulations of my home owner's insurance.***
