To the inquirers concerned: I have known Jared M on a professional level since 2012 where we met as active duty service members stationed overseas at a small Naval Hospital in Spain. Jared always stood out as a hardworking, motivated, intelligent, trustworthy individual. He was highly respected and a great mentor and senior leader to the junior sailors. His professionalism and selflessness set him apart from the others. I’ve been lucky enough to establish and maintain a friend relationship, since returning to the U.S. Jared has amazed me with his drive and dedication as he has recently graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy. As our friendship evolved, Jared has shared in my passion for animals; I have seen first hand his gentle nature and kind ways with my beloved (not always friendly) dog, and his boasts of excitement when he has been given the opportunity to care for close friends’ animals (many like their children).
