My pups are generally a bit nervous around strangers, but they love Jared! I had to abruptly discontinue my weekly walks due to a family emergency but I’d recommend him to anyone, and hope to recommence the walks and other pet care with him soon!

Our dog, Chloe, had a great time hanging out with Jared while we were away for a few days. Jared was attentive and sent us lots of pics to update us on how she was doing. It was evident that she was happy and well cared for. Will definitely ask him to sit for us again.

Basic Information: - Dog's name, age, and breed: This helps in addressing the dog correctly and understanding their specific characteristics and needs. - Gender: Knowing if the dog is male or female is important for handling and potential interactions with other dogs. 2. Health and Medical Information: - Vaccination status: It's important to know if the dog is up to date on vaccinations to ensure their health and safety. - Any ongoing medical conditions: If the dog has any chronic illnesses or requires regular medication, it's crucial to have detailed instructions on their treatment and any warning signs to watch out for. - Allergies or sensitivities: Being aware of any allergies the dog may have, such as food allergies or environmental triggers, helps in providing appropriate care and avoiding potential health issues. 3. Feeding and Dietary Preferences: - Preferred food and feeding schedule: Knowing the brand and type of food the dog eats, as well as their feeding routine, ensures continuity in their diet and minimizes digestive issues. - Treat preferences: Dogs often have favorite treats, and it's helpful to know which ones they enjoy and if there are any restrictions on treats. 4. Exercise and Activity Level: - Exercise requirements: Understanding the dog's activity level and exercise needs, such as the duration and intensity of walks or playtime, allows for appropriate physical stimulation. - Favorite activities or toys: Knowing the dog's preferences in terms of play activities or favorite toys can help create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for them. 5. Behavior and Training: - Temperament: Understanding the dog's general temperament, such as whether they are shy, outgoing, energetic, or calm, helps in tailoring interactions and ensuring their comfort. - Training cues and commands: Learning the commands and cues that the dog responds to enables effective communication and management of their behavior. - Leash behavior and socialization: Knowing how the dog behaves on a leash and their level of comfort with other animals or people assists in planning safe outings and interactions. 6. Emergency Contacts and Vet Information: - Contact details: Having the pet owner's contact information, including phone numbers and alternative emergency contacts, is vital in case of any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. - Veterinary information: Having the name, address, and phone number of the dog's primary veterinarian or an emergency veterinary clinic ensures prompt medical attention if needed. A typical day

As a pet sitter, my typical day revolves around providing attentive and personalized care to the pets I'm responsible for. Here's a breakdown of what a day in my life as a pet sitter might look like: Morning: 1. Start the day by checking my schedule and confirming the timing and details of each pet-sitting assignment. 2. Begin with morning visits to clients' homes. This includes feeding the pets, refreshing their water bowls, and ensuring they have a clean and comfortable environment. 3. Take dogs for walks, giving them the opportunity to stretch their legs, get some exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. 4. Administer any necessary medications or treatments as instructed by the pet owners. 5. Spend quality time playing and engaging with the pets, offering plenty of affection and attention. Afternoon: 1. Continue with midday check-ins for pets who require them, ensuring they have bathroom breaks, fresh food and water, and some playtime or exercise. 2. Carry out any additional tasks requested by pet owners, such as grooming, light housekeeping related to the pets (e.g., cleaning litter boxes), or basic obedience training reinforcement. 3. Communicate with pet owners through text updates, providing them with updates on their pets' well-being and any noteworthy events or observations. Evening: 1. Return for evening visits, repeating the same routine as in the morning—feeding, walking, playing, and attending to any specific needs of each pet. 2. Ensure that all pets are settled for the night, whether it's providing a comfortable sleeping area, turning on night lights, or closing curtains as per the owners' instructions. 3. Administer any evening medications if required. 4. Maintain open lines of communication with pet owners, answering any questions or addressing any concerns they may have. 5. Lock up the clients' homes securely upon leaving, ensuring the safety and security of the pets and property. Throughout the Day: 1. Document important information, such as feeding schedules, medication administration, and any behavioral or health changes, in a detailed pet-sitting log. 2. Keep an eye out for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior in the pets and inform the owners promptly. 3. Prioritize the well-being, comfort, and happiness of the pets in my care, ensuring they receive individualized attention and a stress-free environment. 4. Maintain professionalism and respect for clients' privacy and property at all times. It's important to note that the exact schedule and tasks may vary depending on the specific needs and requests of each pet owner. Flexibility and adaptability are key to providing the best possible care for the pets entrusted to me as a pet sitter.
