Pet care experience
I have helped take care of dogs with my family since about the age of 8-10. We have worked with the rescue organization Labs4Rescue, and helped foster over twenty dogs! Some of the dogs we worked with had special needs, such as epilepsy or bladder control issues. Additionally, I have assisted my grandparents with breeding Irish Setters, and so have experience with very young pups (under 3 months of age), as well as nursing and late-stage pregnant mothers.

I have a fenced-in backyard and a 1250 sq. foot house. I also live very close to a park (Farms Village Playground) for walks and can take your pet to nearby dog-parks if requested.

I have lots of experience with labs and Irish setters! Knowing if a dog is special needs or dietary restrictions is always important, and knowing if they are friendly with dogs they meet on walks or should be kept at a distance is helpful.
A typical day
We can go on walks as short as 5 minutes, or as long as 2 hours! I live within 10 minutes driving distance of several hiking trails and two dog parks, as well as multiple town parks.

I am currently self-employed, and so can walk or house-sit any time of the day and on any day of the week. I am flexible with my schedule and can do long-term or short-term contracts.
