I have a mix russian blue 8 year old cat that I adopted when she was 6 months, I realized cats are amazing companions this was my first time having a pet of my own and in 8 years I have learned a lot on how to make sure they are given love affection and care, I have volunteered for the last 2 years at Orphans of the Storm in Illinois which is were I adopted my cat, I have learned all cats are unique amazing and loving in their own way being able to give my time and love to cats as well as the cats to me is so fulfilling. I also would take care of my neighbors cat every summer when she would go out of town that was a 15 year old cat drop in visits I would love playing and interacting with her even though she was originally a feral cat I could not pet her but I still made sure to interact and talk to her. I talk to every cat like if it was my cat, and treat them like it was my very own.
