She had a nice demeanor; however I was disappointed with the lack of communication during his 4 day stay. On the 1st day, I had to ask for a pic and update - which she did immediately provide shortly after request. On the 2nd and 3rd day, again, there were no updates/pics until I requested them in the late evening (in which I only received 1 each day with a general update. On the 4th day, it was radio silence, no pics, no updates. I only received communication to confirm his pickup time which was 8pm. I chose her as a sitter because her profile and reviews mentioned she sends photos but yet I was a bit worried throughout his stay. On a positive note, she seems like a sweet person. Unfortunately, I was not able to see exactly where he was being kept as she lived on military base and only met at gate. With previous Rover sitters, they sent at least 2-3 updates a day, with more than photo and sometimes even a video. I could see where he would be staying which gives peace of mind but that was not the case this time. When he returned to my care, he seemed unusually exhausted and weak. I asked more questions to find out what may have caused this, which is when she mentioned he played at the park earlier in the day. After letting him sleep/eat, he was back to his chipper self the next day. Although she had no pics of his park playtime, he clearly had a great time exercising with her other pups. I appreciate her being able to watch him with less than a week notice.
