Pet care experience
Pets are my passion and expertise! I've shared almost all of my life with dogs and other animals ever since my family adopted our first dog when I was four years old. I have experience owning and caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, livestock, birds, small mammals, reptiles, and fish. I have owned quite a wide variety of animals personally, plus have worked in a vet clinic, stables, sanctuaries, zoos/museums, a pet store, and with animal rescues. I have a special interest in dog training, especially obedience and dog sports. My ultimate goal is a career as a professional dog trainer. Whatever your pet care needs are, I would love to help.

I prefer to have a meet-and-greet beforehand so your pet can get to know me while having the safety and familiarity of their mom or dad present before being alone with me as a stranger. Once I'm sure that we'll get along, then we can book the services you need. I love all animals and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am gentle and affectionate with animals, and have experience winning the trust of even the most timid and shy pets. I hope you will hire me on a regular basis so I can develop a strong bond with your pet - the more time we spend together, the better our relationship will be. My goal is to keep your pets comfortable and happy, so I believe sticking to a routine and training style they're already familiar with is best. My preferred training methods are primarily force-free and based on positive reinforcement. However I also have experience with balanced training ideologies and tools. I'm reliable, professional, and trustworthy. I don't smoke and am alcohol- and drug-free. I treat all clients with respect and compassion, and am LGBTQA+ friendly.

I prefer to know a little bit about your pet's personality, history, and needs - are they shy or outgoing around strangers? What are their quirks, likes, and dislikes? Are they fearful or reactive towards any situation? What is their favorite treat? Any health or diet concerns? I have no breed or species preferences and am just as comfortable with toy breeds as with bully breeds or giant breeds - or even with exotic pets or livestock. I will happily work with pets of any age, energy level, or training experience.
A typical day
I cater my services to the needs of each owner and pet. Does your dog just need someone to let them out to potty during the day and give them some attention, or do they need a full thirty minute walk to blow off some steam? Want me to work with your pet on some basic obedience commands or teach leash manners? Could your fluffy dog or cat benefit from a brush-out? Or does your pet need a ride to or from daycare, the groomer, or the vet? Let me know!

Availability
My schedule is very flexible at this time. I have a reliable vehicle and am fit enough to walk for multiple miles a day. I am available for drop-in visits, walks, basic training sessions, and pet taxi services during the day and early evening, seven days a week.
