Pet care experience
For over 25 years, I’ve been a dog-mama to three mixed-breed rescues, and a professional dog walker for five years, joining the Rover team in 2021. I walk small-mid size dogs (<55 pounds, or older dogs up to 70 pounds), with specialized care and patience for senior dogs.

I will be respectful of your property, always. Most of my clients have designated areas for their dogs, so as soon as the visit starts, I go to the area for tummy rubs and warm greetings, then off we go on the walk! After each visit I make sure your dog has water and food (as instructed by you). All of my visits are tracked on Rover Cards, so you have pictures, length of walk, plus other details, too. Kindly let me know if your dog has separation anxiety issues, if you would prefer we not greet other dogs and humans on our walks, or if they are super loving and need extra doses of TLC. Also, any medical history would be helpful. I am not equipped to assist with any behavioral issues, such as extreme separation anxiety or dog aggression, unfortunately.
A typical day
For my senior dog clients, our visits are shared - outside time to take care of business and sniff a bit, then inside for tummy rubs, pets and companionship. Even a little play! For younger dog clients, each 30 minute walk includes about 20-25 minutes of walking time, then to the home for water and a treat (as instructed), a bit of play time, cool down for the summer months, and companionship/tummy rubs! Your dogs will get a well-rounded visit with me. Overall: I can accommodate to your pet's needs (less walking, more TLC, slower paced for those senior dogs, etc.).
