Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Jann! I love all animals, but dogs are especially dear to me. I have had dog companions for most of my life; caring for people and animals is something I am passionate about. I love providing a loving, fun, and safe environment. I will truly love your pets like they are my own. I grew up working in animal hospitals caring for boarders and helping administer medication and treatment. I was a vet tech for three years while in graduate school and I loved my work! I am a pet portrait artist and I work in textiles as well. I have a lot of experience caring for animals large and small. I used to provide boarding in my home through Rover and had a lot of great experiences with pups and their owners. We adopted a pit bull, Stanley, and decided to focus on him and discontinue boarding. I've missed everyone! I'm excited about providing drop-in services and getting to take care of new fur-friends. Please share info about your dog's flea prevention, eating and walk schedule, veterinarian and medication info, vaccination history, and their rules at home. What is playtime like? Which toys are favorites? What are his/her sleeping arrangements? I want your pet to be as comfortable with me as possible. Knowing routines and other details helps me provide safety as well as stability for my clients.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's preferences and needs, we can go on walks, play in the park, go for rides to animal friendly shops, etc. Snuggle time is just as important as play time, so there will be lots of that as well.

I work and paint in my home studio so my schedule is very flexible and open. I can be available usually between 8 am and 8 pm.
