I am a true dog lover. I think I have seen every episode of the series "Dog Whisperer". I had to put down my beloved 14 year old Weimaraner (who was a Champion Show Dog and Pet Therapy Dog) seven years ago. Since then I had longed for the company of a dog around. Since my husband wasn't ready for an emotional attachment of a permanent family dog, I decided to become a Dog Vacay/Rover host. Now seven years later my Rover pups have become the perfect relationships for us. We have become attached to the pups like they are our own. I have a comfortable cottage with a spacious backyard. My home is tiled with plenty of rugs to play on. I also make homemade dog treats. When I am away for short periods of time I have SmartCams that I can watch the pups at home from my phone to make sure they are comfy and restful. I do have a couple of dog crates if needed. I let them go inside and outside to play on sunny days if they prefer (I do monitor them always). I do not leave them unsupervised outside; they do have a mesh door to go in/out. Our home is located very close to a nice walking trail which I can walk your dog at no additional charge! Amenities and Additional Information to Dog Owner: ~ Please bring bed, sleep items, toys, and medication (if needed). I do have various sizes of feeding bowls and toys ~ If needed I will provide clean linens if there are accidents in crates ~ I can cater to most of your dog's needs (I have had dogs for 35 thirty-five) plus years, so I feel safe in relaying this to the dog owner). I will care for your pup as my own ( the way he/she is treated in their home). ~Dogs may play outside multiple times a day(5+ ) (depending on weather) (have mesh door, so it depends on your pup). On nice sunny days I usually leave the back door open which has a magic mesh screen, so they can go in and out and chase squirrels and play ~If a pup is indoors they will go outside 6+ times a day. I also get up during night, so they can go outside at least once during the night if needed. ~I do provide various flavors of homemade dog treats ~Large partially shaded back yard with secure 8 foot wood fencing ~Nice walking trail near by (will walk your dog at no additional charge) ~Pictures of their stay will be either sent via texted or emailed whatever is preferred during their stay I am located conveniently on your way to the airport off the beltway and 249.
