I have dog-sat many times before (ever since I was 14) taking care of breeds including but not limited to boxers, cocker spaniels, collies, terriers, and Labradors. I am very reliable, with several different owners that come back to me regularly when they are in need of a dog sitter. The primary reason why I love to dog sit is because I have so much fun with dogs and it is very rewarding. I've owned my Jack Russell terrier ever since she was a baby. I potty trained/house trained her and take her out at least 3 times per day. I'm familiar with early stages of dog development, therefore I can take care of puppies as well! I am a loving animal person, with a passion for dogs. I will treat your dog with love and respect as I do with my own. Your dog will have a lovely environment while you are away with plenty of play time and exercise, unless otherwise instructed =) There are multiple dog parks in walking distance of my apt (located in Midtown). I usually take my dog, and the dogs I am watching, for long walks along Buffalo Bayou. I always keep several toys at the apt including balls and ropes, and there is plenty of space for small-to-medium sized dogs to play. I do have a regular 9-5 job working Monday-Friday, with no commitments on the weekends. I'll generally be able (and plan) to spend all non-working hours with your pet! I do have one female roommate who is also a dog lover, but does not own one. My dog, a 4 yr old Jack Russell Terrier, is very friendly and loves to have friends to play with.
