Home away from Home for your dogs!
Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover since childhood, and a dog owner since my adulthood. Charlie Brown (chocolate lab), Howie (brindle bullmastiff), and Hercules (bullmastiff) were beloved family members. I miss caring for dogs, and thought I would foster until I heard about Rover. I will care for your family member as if they are my own. If they are comfortable riding in a car we will access the lakes around my home, dog parks, and schedule play dates with other dogs. I would welcome the opportunity to bond with your pet, and would work to make them comfortable, entertained, exercised, and well rested! Lastly (if needed) there is a pet hospital just three blocks from my home, and I have a good friend who is a Veterinarian as well!
Reviews
Janine took wonderful care of our beagles and our home while we were traveling. She sent frequent updates so we knew everything was going well and we could enjoy vacation. The pups barely noticed when we got home.
Janine was wonderful with our dog and so attentive and caring! Enjoyed the updates and would definitely book again!
Such a wonderful caregiver. Our dog returned home so happy and clearly well cared for while she stayed with Janine. We would recommend her to anyone.
Janine is a gem. She took excellent care of Charley and took her on long walks. She left our house immaculate. We will definitely use Janine again.

I have a 6-foot privacy fence to keep your dog safe and secure from the temptations and distractions from other people and animals (including dogs).
Information Janine M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know something about the dog's temperament, and preferences. How they behave around kids, and/or adult and strangers. What is their routine - how much exercise can they manage? Do they need to run, walk, or just have some active playtime in the yard, or in the house? Do they sleep in a crate, in a dog bed, or with their owner? What or how are they comforted - do they need quiet, or need to be held, tummy rubbed or gentled petting with a calm voice and setting. Are snacks allowed and if so what kind. Is the dog being trained in some way so that I can continue those efforts for continuity. How often do they need to go out to "handle their business" :)
A typical day
My neighborhood has a large park just two blocks away. I also live near a dog park where your family member can run, and play with others. My backyard is fenced in (6ft privacy fence) so they will be safe from other dogs or people who may not appreciate four legged friends like we do! I work from home 70% of the time so I can give extra attention to your dog during weekdays. I also have a close friend who owns a farm. If your family member would enjoy that environment and travels well in a car, we could visit the farm as well (depending on the length of time I would be caring for your fur family member).

Availability
I have worked from home for the past 4 years and recently accepted a new position that requires that I work from the office. This may change your interest and desires to use my services from 8am - 5pm daily (Monday - Friday) as I will be away from home, and I understand. However, I will be off from work most traditional US Holidays so should you need care during such times, I would be more than happy to assist.
