Pet care experience
I've had dogs since the first day I came home from the hospital! Bear was my first dog, white German Shepard who slept at my door at night to protect me! I've loved and cared for dogs since day one! I currently have two miniature dachshunds and until recently a chocolate lab named Buddy who was my best friend for 14 years. In my free time have volunteered at shelters and actually make dog toys out of old t-shirts. I have helped raise litters of puppies and helped raise puppies with medical conditions involving eating disorders and other medical issues so I have no problem accommodating dogs with special needs. Next time I need someone to walk or play with my dog, I'll be calling Janine! She was fantastic and my puppy loved her!
Foxy just had her first walk with Janine and I couldn't be happier! First we scheduled a meet and greet the day before, and Janine asked all the right questions beforehand to get to know me and more importantly, Foxy. She kept in contact and constantly updated prior to coming, arriving, during the walk, and afterward. She sent photos and did well even when Foxy was a bit unsure upon her arrival. I loved her write up which was very detailed, too! I have total confidence in Janine taking care of Foxy as she is very dog savvy. When she met my neighbor's dog and didnt allow him to jump on her, I knew she was good! Thank you so much, Janine. And I (and Foxy!) are looking forward to seeing you again!!
Janine has been GREAT. We feel very comfortable with her coming into our home and Guinness is really enjoying her company. Janine is reliable and keeps us updated with all their activities. Has been a great experience as we were a little skeptical about this whole process. Much thanks Janine
Janine is new to our family and a great addition!! Our pup Margaux loves her as well as our kitty mustardo. This was her first week, she sent us photos and updates that were great!

I have a courtyard in front of my apartment, which the dogs will love for potty breaks and safe away from any traffic. I also have a long side walk that runs along my complex great for longer afternoon walks! Toys and treats are a must throughout the day!

I will have to know the aggression level of the dog and how it behaves around other animals, children, food and toys. Many dogs have been rescued and in turn have abusive pasts and I am more than willing to try and work with them, as long as I am fully aware of their situation and what sets them off. I will also need to know of any allergies, such as outdoor and/or food reactions. I am willing to medicate if the pup has medical issues.
A typical day
Morning walk and breakfast. Leisure time. Break and play and snacks. Leisure time. Lunch / afternoon walk. Leisure time. Break and play and snacks. Leisure time. Long evening walk and dinner. Cuddles and bedtime!
