Hi! I work from home and my husband works from home. We have two kids in middle school that really enjoy animals just as much as we do. We have a 4 year old Lab, Ramey who loves to have a dog-friend visit. *important- we cannot accommodate a very high energy dog that requires miles of walks or needs someone home the entire time. We do have activities and sports where we may be gone 4-6 hours at a time We have watched several dogs, large and small, at our house and a friend mentioned that we should try Rover.com. We are happy to have your dog over for a few nights and give him/her love and attention. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly and most of our neighbors have dogs. We have grass in the backyard and it is fully fenced. Our home has hardwood floors. Some of our fabulous experiences include: - Caring for a 9 week old Doberman pup. Feeding 4 times a day, staying away from public spaces, Lot's of potty training, giving antibiotics, crate-trained sleep - Caring for a medium-sized super active border collie during Christmas time. Providing lots of walks and stimulation. Caring for his coat. - Taking care of an aging Lab. Providing slow walks, meds, etc. - I take care of our family horse as well! I do work full time but remotely. We are mostly home. Kids do have sports so we do sometimes need to leave dogs alone when we are at sports games. We have our own dog, (and horse!!) so we are used to caring for animals in our daily routines. At my home, dogs do have the ability to be indoors or outdoors, whichever they prefer. We do not allow dogs to stay outside if we are not home. So they will need to be potty trained so we can go out of the house.
