Looking for a caretaker to not only befriend your best friend, but also give them the energy and attention they crave? I have watched a range of dogs from a month long stay with a Bernese Mountain Dog to morning walks with Labs, runs with Huskies, weekend stays with Terriers and personally training and loving my family dog. I have the energy and desire for the companionship of a dog, but am not ready to be a full time dog owner myself. Let me take your dog on walks, out to play and run by the river, and give him/her a few good belly scratches to make your time away a bit less stressful. Perhaps we’ll learn to give paw fives at the end of our time together!

Janine did a great job watching my energetic, young huskie sitka! At the time, my family and I had just adopted Sitka. She was an overly energetic puppy that had a problem nipping at elbows, and poor listening skills. We offered Janine the opportunity to watch Sitka, as well as our other two dogs, while we were out of town for a week. Coming home, we learned that Janine had taught Sitka how to "sit", "lay down", and respond much better to commands to better control her behavior. Sitka and our other dogs love to see Janine each time she watches them now! Janine is an exceptionally trustworthy house guest and excellent pet sitter! Would highly recommend!
