I have always loved dogs and cats and I grew up with both in our home. I have owned my own dogs since 1982 and had cats from 1986 until 2008. I did buy my first dog from a breeder, but since then I have taken in strays or adopted them from a shelter. I have also been a temporary foster. In 1989 I found a liter of abandoned kittens in our bushes that were only a couple of weeks old that I bottle fed and raised until they were old enough to be adopted out and I kept one of them. Over the years I have taken care of family, friends and neighbors animals. During the week I take my dog for a 3 mile walk/run. I'm passionate about the health of myself and dog and I love being outside.
