I live over the shop that I work at in Minturn, Colorado. It is a two bedroom and I live with my partner of 4 years, Charlie as well as our two fabulous pups Wormee and Starfox. Starfox is a 10 year old red heeler who was one of my foster dogs from Texas Cattle Dog Rescue. Wormee is a 2 year old 7 pound mutt who was found by a friend in the Colorado woods :0 Unable to find her owner, she became part of the family. I have always loved animals and grown up with them as a daily part of life. I love natural medicine and take great care in the health of all animals. I am experienced at different administrations of medicine and veterinary health care. I am flexible and happy to do daily walks or check ups, regular visits, overnight sitting and long term sitting. Why I love dog sitting I have loved animals my entire life. Beginning in elementary school, I started volunteering at veterinary clinics. I did this throughout high school. After years of solely watching how the vets and other workers handled animals, I begin assisting in all aspects of running a practice. Throughout college, I fostered dogs from several texas breed specific rescue groups. My favorite w Texas Cattle Dog Rescue, this is where I adopted my pup Starfox from. I also have had extensive experience training troubled and/or abused animals. My experience administering medication Yes. I have had experience giving injections and medication ingested in all manners. I am comfortable dealing with ill animals, elderly animals, or anything that entails acute supervision and care.
