I am a retired lady and have had, and loved, pets, off and on all of my life. Our last dog died a few years ago, and we never have had the heart to replace him. So there would not be any danger to your pet or home from a pet of mine. I completed a 24-hour course in pet-sitting which, although it certainly does not make me a veterinarian, taught me many valuable things to improve my ability to do a good job for them and for you. If you are interested in my services, you will be happy to know that I have a large fenced (most of it 6 feet) back yard in grass, with large areas of it in deep shade for them to romp in, and they are free to come in and go out of my home at they please. But I have to be balanced. When tending a pet, I put up child gates. When someone comes to the door your pet is restricted to the kitchen by them until it becomes obvious that he/she is comfortable with the visitor(s). Also, if the pet shows an inclination to have "accidents" or otherwise misbehave, the pet will be restricted to the kitchen by means of the child gates, or left outside if you have indicated to me that that is OK. I attend religious meetings twice a week and have to leave pets for a couple of hours then. I also have a few errands to run during the week, so I cannot promise to always be at home.
