Pet care experience
I am an animal lover with many years of experience. I grew up with horses, cows, dogs, cats and more! At this time, I have a 14 year old cat named Skiddles at home who is my best buddy! I have been fortunate enough to experience all types of situations with animals over the years (birth, health problems, death, etc.). I left healthcare in 2018 as a Surgical/Sterilization Tech to care for our 4-legged friends and continue advancing as a Reiki Practitioner (for people & animals). I also enjoy photography on the side. If your family member needs special care or just a friend to hang out with, I am the person for them! I am available during the weekdays and an occasional weekend. I do live on acreage and have a fenced yard & field. As of May 2020, I will be adding on the additional services of Doggy Daycare and Overnight Care in my home.

Janice has gone above and beyond with my dogs. I left the country and was extremely nervous about leaving one of my dogs whose recovering from an autoimmune condition. I hired Janice to walk them midweek while our house sitter was working. She came and met them and listened to my many quirky requests prior to the walks. Her report cards and many photos put me at so much ease. It made me feel better to know I could call her if they needed more check ins or walks while away. I highly recommend her as a thorough and motherly dog caretaker while you’re away!
Janice is a true dog lover, and has gone above and beyond to work with my puppy. She understands dog behavior and knows how to handle them appropriately. She's always super communicative, on time and professional. Janice obviously truly cares for animals and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a walker. 🐾🐾
Janice had a wonderful way with our girls. She came to meet them, and us, in advance, arrived on time for the sit and sent photos of our girls through the evening. We will definitely use her services again in the future.
Our boys had a wonderful couple of days with their new friend Janice. Everybody was healthy and happy when we got back. I couldn't be more pleased!

A typical day
I enjoy going up north and walking Whatcom Falls, Sehome Hill, Lake Padden and Chuckanut Drive. I do live where I have access to local trails & parks, including a trail right across from where I live. I am also fortunate to live on acreage that is completely fenced and a perfect place for them to run, play and get fresh air! Some of the fun things I like to do is play fetch & catch, play down by the water and let them take a dip, if they like to swim. I have a SUV that is dog-friendly and can easily take them for a ride to their favorite place.
