I love animals! I've been dog & cat sitting for friends and family for several years. Three years ago, my schedule finally allowed me to adopt a dog. (Fun fact - it turns out she was pregnant and I got to foster puppies for 8 weeks and find homes for them all!). Our little rescue is the sweetest girl, but she was reactive toward other dogs. I took her to a trainer and learned a lot about dog needs and behaviors. Whenever walking dogs I pay close attention to signals/stressors and avoid escalation of negative experiences to ensure pups feel safe and happy!
