Love and Belly Rubs!
Pet care experience
Hello! Last child leaving the nest and have some love and snuggles to share with your best friend. I live in a 3 bedroom house, with an enclosed back patio. I've just lost my dog of 14 years, so I've got a dog free house....for a bit....I also have a 14 year old kitty. She is still pretty spry for her age and gives all boarders a chance at experiencing her kittyness, but understands not all dogs will be cat lovers. Super prey driven or cat hating dogs won;t do well at our house.... Magnuson Park is our favorite off leash area. After thoughtful consideration as to whether I should become a foster dog mom, I realized that it might work better for me to offer pet sitting services. Then I wouldn't be tempted to adopt all the dogs out there who need a home. About this sitter: I'm self employed, love all creatures, especially dogs, and would love to love your best friend while you're away. While I have daily work to attend to, which may take me away from home for up to 6 hours per day, having been a dog owner, I'll make sure your dog gets daily off leash romps at Magnuson Park. My goal is to offer your dog lots of excersize and play: have fun; make new friends; and get some bottom rubs! Why I love dog sitting I've been a life long dog lover and dog owner. From the poodles (because my mom hated dogs that shed) of my youth, to the various pure bred and mutts I've owned and loved as an adult. I would enjoy life much less without my dog pals! Meet my pets So I've got this kitty. She's 14 and is an indoor/outdoor gal. She is a rescue from the streets and is scrappy, but she'll try to make friends with all our boarders. She assumes good intentions, but also knows how to run away if we're sitting for a non cat loving dog. About my yard I have a back patio area that is fenced. It's cement with some plantings around the edge. See photos.

Janice was AMAZING with our Lexi! We were so sad to leave her for a full week, but Janice sent pictures nearly two times each day updating us with how she was doing! Lexi also got a little vacation herself because they went to the dog park to play every single day! We will DEFINITELY ask Janice to watch Lexi in the future! She had a wonderful time!
A++ all the way around! Communication and doggie care were outstanding. Thank you! You know Roman will be back again (and again and again :))
Janice was such an amazing dog sitter! Great communication, wonderful home. Ryder was able to play with her partners dog, and Janice sent so many great photos while I was away! She took her to the dog park to play fetch and swim and Ryder looked like the happiest pup ever. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience having Janice watch our beloved Oscar. Her home is comfy and cozy, perfect for our couch lounging dog. He settled right in and she sent us daily pictures - which we loved! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Oscar was being so well cared for.

I love all comers, but it's important to meet each and every dog first.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks In addition to walks in the neighborhood, we go to Ravenna park as well as Manguson Park off leash area. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Hmmm, well I'd say your dog is welcome to sleep wherever they might be most comfortable. The bed, the floor, in their own dog bed, in their crate, with the cat.... Time I'll spend with your dog When I'm working on site with clients I may be away for 6-8 hours on any given day, but my evenings and weekends are spent around the house, hiking or just out on an urban walk.
