Jan was such a great find! As our usual dog walker was out sick, I searched Rover for someone who lived in our area that might be able to help out. Jan responded quickly, and we had a meet-and-greet with the Boxers and us parents. We went on a short walk as a trial run since one of our boys is not the friendliest with all dogs, and I wanted to make sure Jan felt comfortable preempting some dog interactions. She knew just what to do, and as we made it around the neighborhood, we ran into my neighbors that had known Jan for years. Jan and an immediate neighbor have been friends for 18 years! With that immediate reference feedback and Jan's bright personality, we knew we had found some great help that we could feel comfortable in giving a key to our home. Highest recommendations!

Jan has worked for us as a dog sitter once or twice a year for a number of years. She has been inordinately kind to our dogs. She not only walks and feeds our dog, but she also takes time to play with her and spend some time with her. Sometimes she turns on the radio or TV for a while to give our dog a bit of companionship. Jan is a neighbor and a friend, but she has also watched our daughter;'s dog, and I know she has watched other dogs in our neighborhood. Bella was so comfortable with Jan that one time when our pooch decided to take an "unaccompanied walk," we found her in Jan's yard! She had squeezed under the fence and went over to play, Jan's TLC and love of dogs knows no bounds.
