I am a 65 year old woman who retired from the Anchorage school District In 2015 after working 21 years in special education. I currently have three dogs of my own and have had dogs all my life. My husband and I have 3, two miniature Dachsunds 2 years old, and a new 6 month old miniature Australian Shepherd. I have worked with and owned several different breeds of dogs. I am patient, kind, and loving. I have taken my own dogs through positive pet training and can reinforce any commands or tricks that your dog has learned. I have also owned parakeets and cockatiels and I’m familiar with caring for these birds. I am also willing and able to take dogs, cats, birds or any other animal to vet appointments or vaccination appointments. I will only care for animals who are up-to-date with their vaccinations. They will be in good hands with me, I promise. I also have a background check which came out clean.
