Hi, I'm a singer/songwriter and a dog lover. I have had a beautiful yellow Lab for 13 years in the house I live in still. She passed away and I'm lonely for dog company. I worked as a vet tech a while back at Murphy Road Animal Hospital. I also fostered a lab mix pup for a year. I work at home and have a great yard. It takes a real dog lover to take care of other people's dogs and I think I'm one of those kinds of people. I can be trusted as if your dog was my own. I love them all. There is also a real beautiful park just down the street from me so we can go for nice walks.

Janey’s kind, playful and loving care of our Maggie was everything we hoped for! Thanks to her preparation and kindness, our dog quickly made herself at home. By the time our flight was taking off, Janey sent us a picture of Maggie on her bed watching the news together. Throughout our stay, Janey thoughtfully checked in with quick updates and photos. We were completely at ease during our trip, which meant a great deal to us – and we were sincerely grateful for her thoughtful care. We highly recommend Janey and have already booked Maggie’s next stay with her new best friend!
Janey was great with our pups, Jack & Scrappy! This was their first time staying with her, so she was able to do a meet & greet with us ahead of time. She was quick to respond whenever I reached out with questions, was flexible with drop off and pickup times, and sent updates throughout their stay. Overall, we would recommend her and hope to have our pups stay with her again in the future!

I love all the dogs. Purebred and mixed, all kinds. They are all just loving creatures. I like having a the meet and greet and discussing any issues the dog may have that will help me make a decision on whether it's a good fit or not. I take one dog or one dog family at a time. My 13 year old lab passed a while back and I miss her terribly. That is why when your dog stays with me, he or she gets very special attention. I love their company. It's also a real plus if your dog has issues with other dogs. If they don't have issues with other dogs, it's cool because they get all the attention either way. They seem to really like that.
A typical day
I am home pretty much all the time, so they are never lonely. I have a huge fenced in yard that we can play in. Charlotte Park is right down the block so we can go for nice long walks. I let the dogs sleep with me because I love their cuddles.
