Hello! I am a dog/guinea pig mom who loves animals. I have a wire fox terrier, Olivia, and two adorable guinea pigs, Flooby and Mr. Squeakers. I have adopted and cared for guinea pigs for the last 15 years. Even though I have always loved my little piggies, I missed having a dog, or cat, as I did growing up. After sitting some of my friends' dogs regularly for the last three years, I decided it was time to adopt one of my own. So, I found and adopted my Olivia last year. I currently have flexible time to walk and care for your pets while you are at work, or away on vacation. I will spoil and love your four-legged fur babies, as I do with my own. They will have endless attention and play under my watch. I can bring your dog to the park, if you so wish, or just drop in to feed them, play with them, cuddle, and give them any needed medications. I will provide you with updates during each visit.

Janete is a pleasant person. She brings such a sense of joy to her interactions with people, that it’s hard to believe her when she says she prefers animals to humans. Janete is an obvious animal lover- she often remembers acquaintances’ pet’s names and asks about their pets in small talk. I have witnessed her kindness and gentleness to dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even lizards. She regularly assists with friends’ pets and has experience with animals with special needs, administering meds, etc. Janete is a trustworthy and kind person, and I would recommend her for any pet care you need.
Janete is amazing with dogs. This is the second time that I leave my dog over the Christmas break with her so I can travel overseas to spend time with my family and my dog is always happy after staying with her. Truly, my Nina smiles when she is with Janete. Nina is a Tripaw cancer survivor, and last year she had an immune disease that almost killed her, so my heart was really worried about choosing a person to stay with her this last time. But when I discussed with Janete the possibility, I knew that I shouldn't be worried. Nina not only had all the medications and her needs met, but the most important: love and attention. She also kept me updated with pictures and how Nina was doing and for Nina looked that she was on a pet vacation! I will definitely book Janete again!!!
To Whom It May Concern, Janete is the most trustworthy person we know. We had Sugar and Spice our girl and boy who were litter mates and elderly cats. Our cats needed special care because they were both on medication. Sugar and Spice trusted Janete and so did we. She took wonderful care of our cats while we would travel overseas for our jobs and around the United States. We never had to worry. Janete has watched Maya on short overnights and up to a week at a time. I’ve never felt one bit concerned that my pup wouldn’t be well taken care of. She truly treats Maya like her own family member. Anytime we get near Janete’s house Maya gets super excited because she knows she is going to get lots of belly rubs and good snuggles. 10/10 would recommend for any length of stay. You can rest assured your pet will be well cared for!

I love long walks with dogs and to play fetch with them. My dog is very territorial over her humans and her place, so, I usually take her to normal parks, not dog parks, to keep her safe. For this reason, I will prefer to keep your fur babies away from dog parks while they are under my supervision. I will give them spoiling attention and endless cuddles during drop-in visits to keep their separation anxiety and boredom at bay. I can also take care of any small furry pets, if needed, by cleaning cages and changing their water and food.
