Pet care experience
Hello there! My husband and I both grew up with dogs. I live with my husband, two teenagers and our beloved Daisy. She is a Springermation (a mix of Springer Spaniel and Dalmation) and was born in 2004. Daisy has 2 walks a day (an hour in the morning and half an hour in the afternoon) and she sleeps in our living room. We have a good sized back garden which is enclosed. Daisy loves socialising with other people and dogs. She is a loving and cuddly dog. We joined Dogbuddy (Rover) in February 2017 and have had experience looking after many types of breeds. Perhaps we could set up a 'meet and greet' for us and our doggies? I also have one or two little dogs coming for day care in the week. I am happy to collect and drop off your pooch back home after an hour walk. I have completed a Dog First Aid Course and a Pet Psychology Diploma (April 2021). A true home from home for our precious Mischa. The pics & videos Janet sent every day, showed her totally enjoying herself, tail curled up tightly and wagging. Our holiday was completely relaxing because we knew that Mischa was in safe & caring hands by all the family.
Zeus had a great time staying with Janet and her family, he loved the walks and attention! Janet sent photos every day so I could see what our little guy was upto which was great. We will be back for sure 😊
Flint’s second stay with Janet and family and we have already booked him in for a future holiday. The regular updates are so reassuring and prove that flint is relaxed and treated as one of the family.
Janet is really great. Very friendly and kept me updated daily with pictures and videos. She has a lovely family and the kids were great to Teddy. I definitely highly recommend her.

I care for other dogs like they are my own, including walks, cuddles and treats. After collecting a pooch I secure him/her in my car, either in my boot or behind my seat. After each walk I dry them off with a towel and send a few photos of our walk to the owner.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or any behavioural issues that I should be aware of. I personally prefer a dog to be off lead, I may ask you to sign a form for this. Thank you.
A typical day
I love to stimulate my dogs on their walks, we play fetch and ball games. I take them to lakes and rivers if they love the water. I hide pellets for them during their walk, which is great to tire the brain. I take 3 photos of the dogs during their walk and send to the owner after I drop their pooch back hom.

Availability
I am available to walk dogs and 'pet sits' between 8.30am and 5pm. Every day is different depending on what dogs get booked in. I normally walk 8.30 to 9.30am and 11 - 12pm. Followed by petsits.
