Pet care experience
My love of dogs began at age 6, when my family got our first golden retriever. I've had my own dog as an adult, and although I don't have one now because I often travel with my husband for his work, I take care of my sister's mutt and neighbor's two labs regularly. I'm comfortable giving dogs medication, removing fleas after a walk in the woods, or topically treating any hotspots with salve. For me, one of life's biggest pleasures is being in the company of dogs.

I live on 12 acres surrounded by grass and fields, so there is a lot of room for dogs to play and run. I never leave dogs unsupervised. In addition, I'm a five-minute drive from many parks, where I love to go for walks. My home is very neat and clean. I am a trustworthy, responsible and diligent person who treats others (and their dogs and homes) with respect, love and care.

A typical day
As a previous owner of some very smart dogs, I like to stimulate their minds with fun toys and also make sure they get plenty of exercise, whether it be on walks in the neighborhood or at any of the amazing parks in the area (N. Chagrin, Chapin, Pete's Pond, etc.). I've logged hundreds of miles in these parks and consider them an extension of my own backyard.
