Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life, and can't imagine life without them! My childhood dog lived to be 20 years old, and our sweet family dog lived to be 19 years old, so I am very comfortable with senior dogs who need special attention and a quiet environment. I enjoy watching my family and friends dogs, and making them feel at home, safe and loved. I only watch one families dog/dogs at a time, so your dog will get special attention and not have to interact with other pets.

Janet watched our 13 1/2 year old doodle for 8 days and we have nothing but positive things to say. This was the third time using Rover and the best experience; she sent pictures, took for a daily walk, tried to get our picky boy to eat, and seemed to have compassion and really care for our guy. We’d be very lucky if she could watch him again.
Janet was fantastic. I was nervous about leaving Carter with someone else but Janet exceeded expectations in every way. Sent pictures everyday. Very responsive and genuinely cared for my pup. Carter was sad to leave. 100% would recommend her to anyone.
Janet was very communicative and put us at ease that Georgie was in a safe space. We would definitely use Janet again!
Janet was amazing with our pocket pitty girl! She went on long walks, was able to play outside and inside, got lots of snuggles. She was great at communicating with us. sent us pictures each day and provide us with updates each day. Skylar can’t wait to go back and hangout with Janet!

A typical day
I like to create a similar schedule to whatever schedule your dog is used to. There’s a comfort in routine. There are quiet streets without traffic to go for walks, and many pretty parks nearby for long walks and lots of sniffing! Throwing a ball in the fenced in courtyard is always a favorite too!

I work from home, and have a flexible schedule. I am active and love to take breaks, so walking a dog in my neighborhood, or at a park is a welcome distraction! I also have a fenced in large courtyard and back yard for convenient potty breaks.
