We are a married couple bringing our years of combined experience together to care for your pet(s). Janet has a background in working with animals that has run continuously since first beginning to volunteer with animals as a teenager. In that time, Janet has worked for two animal shelters, become certified in both standard pet first aid and exotic pet care, and started their own pet care business. Edward began working with animals as a teen, falling in love with caring for all sorts of furry friends. Edward's full-time job is as a PhD candidate in diplomatic history, but his love and devotion for animals has kept him coming back to pet care. Edward is also pet first aid certified and has experience working with dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, and rabbits. Both Janet and Edward are extremely excited to meet your pets and help facilitate a happy home for you and your furry friends. Company Mission: We strive to provide the best care to all of our clients. It is our goal that when a client entrusts us with their animals, they can rest assured knowing that their pets are having the same experiences they enjoy on an average day. We are professional, communicative, and compassionate. All team members have a deep love of animals and strive to provide fully comprehensive care. We aim to create peace of mind for our clients through our professionalism, conducting ourselves respectfully and courteously in clients’ homes. We treat our clients as if they were our own family and their pets as if they were our own animals. By booking with us, you give us the right to use your pet's photographs on our social media and website. They will not be named. If you would prefer us not to use their photo, please let us know.

Our commitment is to keep your pets routine as close as possible to what they are used to. This means that feeding times, walks, play time, and/or medication will be given exactly as instructed by the client. We work tirelessly to ensure that when you place your pets in our hands, you come away with the satisfaction that your wishes are being followed. We are happy to accommodate any requests that make you feel more secure in the knowledge that your pets are being taken care of. We are also both covered by a petsitter insurance policy, meaning that if anything at all goes awry, you can rest assured that your pet will be covered. We believe that this is a simple way to provide piece of mind to our clients that there is truly no aspect of their pets wellbeing that we aren't prepared to handle.

What is their regular schedule like? Favorite activities? Any medication? Any special needs? Are they good with other dogs? Are they good with people? Children? On walks are they allowed to meet people or other dogs on the street?
A typical day
We make sure that a typical day for your pet looks exactly like what they're used to. If you want your dog walked to a nearby dog park, around the neighborhood, or given a nice playtime in the backyard, then that is what they will get. If you want your cat given some engagement with toys, scratches, or to simply have someone to sit and scratch them behind the ears, then that is what they will get. For us, the client's wishes are paramount when it comes to their pets. So, whatever you think is fun for your pet is what we think is fun too!

Janet & Edward can watch in your home
Availability
Edward, as a student writing their dissertation, has no set hours for his daily work. As such, his schedule is entirely open for dog walking or pet drop-ins. Janet is a full time sitter and has an entirely open schedule for dog walking, pet drop ins, and overnight pet sitting.
