Pet care experience
I've grown up with several dogs from Chihuahuas to Chows to Rotweilers and Pitbulls. All breeds are loved as respected. I have recently had the wonderful opportunity to care for a senior dog during his last 3 years which included bathing, giving medications, massaging and performing physical therapy. I'm able to adapt to each companions personality once I get to know them. I've also taken a few courses on potty training, obedience training and speaking!

Pet care depends on the parent's rules whether in house or outside. I do love to engage with each companion and get them to trust me. I don't mind walks or park visits but I do understand that some parents may be wary of parks. I have a small fenced in yard at my apartment that is suitable to small/medium dogs but not for larger dogs. I do own 2 turtles which are very curious about other animals and I also own a hamster which is kept in a separate bedroom when caring for a companion. The companion and hamster are never introduced since some companions are natural hunters.

I need to know if the companion has any special needs or requirements, if the parent has any rules about play/feeding time for the companion. I also need to know how aggressive the companion can be and if they have a tendency to bite.
A typical day
I love to head to the parks to burn off some high energy by playing games like catch. Depending on the companion's strength, we can also play tug of war.

Availability
I do work full time and I'm also a part time student but I do have free time daily on week days and weekends from about 8 am to 2:30 pm. Tuesdays and Wednesdays have open availability all day.
