I LOVE dogs (and cats!) and will give your pet(s) the TLC they deserve while you are gone. I am active and will play with and walk your dog as needed. You can rest assured your dog will be in great hands!

Janelle was very quick to respond. It was perfect to go skiing for the day and for her to watch your dog. She sent me many photos throughout the day. Rexy came back very happy and I would highly recommend Janelle to anyone looking for a dog sitter in the Manmoth area! I would definitely bring Rexy back if we come back to Mammoth!
Janelle is amazing. After planning a last minute skiing trip to Mammoth, we were so grateful for her accommodating our late request. Janelle went above and beyond, taking Sable on great walks so that we could enjoy our time on the slopes knowing that our pup was enjoying her day too. Janelle kept us updated with lots of photos from each walk and even brought fun games like a dog puzzle to play with Sable to entertain her after the weather took a turn and they had to limit their outdoor time. We couldn’t recommend her more, and will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we’re in town.
Always takes great care of our dog and he has a great time.

About this sitter: I have one dog of my own and know how difficult it is to leave them and make sure they are well cared for. My dog is medium (45 lb) sized and 9 years old, a great teacher for young dogs! If they aren't instant friends or they are scared of larger dogs i have a barrier to keep them separate. I always keep on leash outside unless the owner gives me 1000% assurance they are reliable.

The following info will be helpful in knowing if it's a good fit and for me to plan: Potty trained? Any destructive behaviors / how long can they be left unsupervised? Any aggressive behavior/triggers? Door dasher? Gets along with other dogs or has size/breed/gender preferences or prefers to be solo? Any allergies/treats they can't have? *The rate listed for doggie day care is for 6 hours. If longer is needed, it's an additional $10/hr, i can adjust the fee on my end. I also offer half days, message me for rate info for your needs. *Keep in mind rover keeps 15% (not to mention income tax!) so tips (and reviews) are greatly appreciated!
A typical day
Depending on the dogs needs, i like to play with toys (i have many!) and go on walks and/or teach new tricks, or do some nose work (find kibbles, etc) for those that need not mental stimulation.

Availability
I may be able to take larger dogs depending on their demeanor, I'll just need to talk with you about your pup before taking in a larger dog. I also offer half days at a discounted rate, doggie adventure outings (hike) for ~2.5 hr, and can dog sit in your home if preferred. Inquire about your needs for rate info!
