Hi I'm Janelle and I love pets, especially the furry four-legged kind! I was born, raised and currently reside in Gurnee. I grew up with five dogs and participated with them in the canine sport, flyball. My love for pets continued into my former full-time job in radio for almost two decades. I was let go due to budget cuts because of COVID-19. With the radio station, I worked on a weekly basis with Save-A-Pet in Grayslake, a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter. I also helped produce our annual Petpalooza event in Lake Villa where I teamed up with area pet non-profits and pet vendors and provided a free afternoon of festivities for the whole family... and their pets were encouraged to attend. My favorite, and most emotional, pet experience was going down to Texas with K9s4U from McHenry to rescue dogs who were abandoned during Hurricane Harvey. I have no kids or pets, so I'm very flexible and am ready to have a PAWesome time helping to take care of your pet(s) with safety as my #1 priority! MORE ABOUT ME: Adores flying single engine airplanes (pursuing private pilot license), volunteering for the Lake County Honor Flight, likes traveling (visited 38 countries so far), enjoys going to concerts, loves photography and is a 23-year-long vegetarian. PLEASE NOTE: I am usually unavailable between 10:30 am - 3 pm Monday through Friday as I have several recurring dog walks. I'd be happy do do drop-in visits or walks before or after and almost any time on the weekends. Thanks!
