Please read below to see if you would like to schedule a meet-and-greet to see if I will be a good fit for your doggy needs! —————————————————————————————————————- IMPORTANT: I have a severe allergy to cats, which means I will be unable to stay in a home with a feline family member unfortunately. (I do love them too! Their hair and saliva on the other hand do not love me back.) I also have chronic severe sinusitis due to indoor and outdoor allergies, as well as sensitivity to strong scents and perfumes. This usually does not prevent me from doing a house sitting, and if it does I will let you know immediately. ————————————————————————————————————— As long as I can remember, I have always had a furry family member (even while I was in the womb!) and had a passion for all animals, reptiles, and aquatic life!Currently, the object of my affections is a Maltese-Shitzu puppy named Teddy, and a Red-eared slider turtle named Ba. ~Here is a brief history of all my dogs!~ I have had the honor of sharing my life with a crazy-hyper Parson Jack Russell Terrier, Jesse, who lived to the ripe old age of 15 and ½ before crossing the rainbow bridge in 2016. I owe it to him that I learned how to deal with high energy dogs, as well as senior geriatric dogs! I have also had a Beagle, a mixed German Shepherd-Labrador-Pitbull mix, a Border Collie, and a Chihuahua-Terrier mix. As a teenager I also dog-sat neighborhood dogs while their humans went on vacation, giving me contact with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have yet to find a dog that doesn’t like me yet! ~Rover Experience~ I have been a active Rover sitter since 2016 and am absolutely loving it! I have stayed with dogs that have social anxiety (with humans or with other dogs and animals), and also dogs that have special needs such as senior dogs, or dogs with injuries. Each dog that comes to my care, I try to adapt to their needs and wants. I have waited as long as a week to get a dog to come to me and let me pet them, or from day one just snuggled all day. If your dog likes a certain pattern or path, I will try my best to follow! Once I know I have learned more about your dogs behaviors and gotten closer to them, with your permission, I will try to take them on a mini-adventure to somewhere exciting and new! I believe dogs deserve a vacation while the humans are away too! Weather permitting of course! ~What you can expect from me~ While Rover is generally my priority work-wise, I also do some part time/event work that takes up the rest of my time. I will do my best to accommodate you as best as I can. If you need someone to stay at the house with your furry family all day, I will gladly do so! My puppy at home has his grandparents to care for him while I am away, so will not be joining me for any house sits. I usually will send at least one picture or some form of update a day, or however much you would like! I will follow all house rules and try to keep your dog as comfortable as possible while you are away. You can expect some sort of summary or report card of how the stay went from me when you return. One thing I pride myself in is my ability to connect with all dogs. Some take longer than others, but I enjoy building a relationship with them and learning their quirks and habits. If I feel that I am not the right fit for your furry friend, I will let you know as soon as I can so that you can find a sitter that can give your dog the care they deserve. Of course the same goes the other way as well, if you feel that I am not the right fit, please let me know! I would rather have a happy dog and happy human, than just having someone settle for me.
