Pet care experience
Hello there! My name's Janelle, and having pets all my life has taught me just how necessary they are to a full and wonderful experience. My current love bugs are Nyx, an 8 year old, spayed Calico cat, and Waverly, a 1 year old, spayed Calico cat. We live in a comfortable 1 bedroom 2nd floor apartment that is walking distance to parks nearby, as well as a PetSmart if they enjoy that! There are plenty of comfy couches to cuddle up on, as well as space for their crate if they prefer to sleep in there. I work full time during the week but would love to offer my help in caring for your furbaby (dogs and cats alike!) after work in the evenings (after 4PM) and during the weekends. I know how stressful it can be to not know how your pet is going to be taken care of if you're out of town or busy, and would love to treat your companion as my own during our time together and would certainly spoil them (if you wanted me to).

I was close friends with Janelle in college. My final year in school, I had my dog with me in the house I lived in. He is a naturally anxious dog and was upset when I wasn’t around for long periods of time, but he always liked being around Janelle and she was always calming and patient with him. After graduating, I moved two hours away from college to Pittsburgh with my dog and needed someone to watch him so I could fly to a wedding in Florida. Even though I had a Roomate and friends in closer to where I lived, I knew he would be best looked after and the least stressed if Janelle cared for him. To make that happen, I drove back to college two hours away where Janelle still lived. Janelle has the patience as well as the calm, but confident demeanor that is necessary to watch other people’s dogs. I hope my testimonial give you confidence too that she is an excellent option to care for your four legged friend.
Janelle is very loving and enjoys spending time with animals of all types. She is attentive to their needs and very responsible. She has cared for our pups for many years and they love spending time with her.

My home already houses two kitties and they are spoiled beyond belief so there are plenty of activities for kitty clients. I am open to communication with my clients on how to properly care for and keep their pet safe.

No breed preferences, love all pups and kitkats! I'd definitely want to know if your dog/cat is okay with cats (if boarding them). If you prefer them not to be on furniture (I don't mind pets cuddling up on furniture with me, but respect owners' wishes not to encourage that behavior). Any diet or medical requirements. Their favorite spot to be pet!
A typical day
I live walking distance to a few large, green park areas (as well as a PetSmart) that pups would enjoy. I also have plenty of love to give and energy to spend on them! I have loads of fun toys and towers for kitties if you would like to board them.
