Pet care experience
I have lived in Slingerlands, NY, for 21 years and have had multiple animals the entire time. I owned a Chocolate Lab for 12 years, and a Collie before that. I do not have any dogs of my own in the house right now, which gives any overnight guests access to everything in the "Rover Room" and the big playroom in the back completely to him or herself. My home is on 8 acres of property at the end of a dead end road, so there is plenty of room for dogs to run around with very little chance of them ever even encountering a car. The Albany Rail-Trail for walking and biking is across from my driveway, so I always have easy access to a safe place to walk dogs. I love dogs, and all animals, and would simply do anything to make them happy.

Toast had a great time playing with the other dogs at Jane's. Toast, and us, were happy to burn off some of that puppy energy.

Jane saved the day for us taking our high energy anxious pup in just 24 hours notice for her first visit. Charlotte loved it there right away and was snuggling with Jane by the afternoon, which is very uncommon for Charlotte. We felt so comfortable that Charlotte was being well cared for and so happy. Now we are hoping to be a regular member of the gang. Thanks, Jane!
Simba loves being here. Jane also had an Easter egg hunt and Simba absolute loved it, especially after winning. This is a great place for your pet.

I have gates in every doorway in my house to keep all of “my” dogs safe and also to keep mischief making to a minimum. Except for a dog walk or a minor errand, I am home with your your woofs and make a point of giving every one of them some one-on-one face time with me.

Information Jane T. would like to know about your pet
I always like to know if your dog has an allergy to any type of food and also if he has any idiosyncrasies, like barking when he wants a pet, so I can be ready for it and know what to do. Basically, as long as your dog is friendly, especially with other dogs, I have no issues with any breed. Mostly I like to know what kind of play your dog likes, or dislikes, so I can make sure he is happy when you walk in the door.
A typical day
I like hands-on fun with dogs, like kicking a soccer ball around with them or throwing a tennis ball, again and again. And again. And of course there lots of belly rubs and behind the ear scratches going on all day long. The Albany Rail-Trail goes right by my house so I have instant access to a safe place for a dog walk, and never even have to cross a street. If your dog has a Bethlehem Dog Park tag, I am happy to take them there. I have a sincere love for all animals, so much so that I have yet to make it through one of those pet rescue commercials with a dry eye, and it’s been years!

Availability
Rover is my full-time job. Dogs and cats come first around here. No dog ever has to be in a crate. They get more than their share of exercise every day and the treats are always flowing.
