I love dogs and growing up my family owned dogs and other pets throughout my whole childhood. Once I moved out, I have kept my own dogs as well. I have dog-sat (and taken care of other animals) in the past, and I am also relatively flexible with "trouble dogs"; I realize every dog is different and the scenarios are case-dependent, so I am always open to discussion, and will not exclude unless I feel it is too inconvenient/risky for myself or, more importantly, my family (child). I love to go on walks and hikes, so including your dog would be fun and exciting. I work part-time, and close to home, so I would be around more often, and have greater availability in dog-sitting. I am eager to meet some new dogs, and their families too! I work part-time, so I have flexibility in arranging a schedule with your pup! My partner is also always happy to pitch in with the daily doggy activities. Most pet parents leave specific instructions for what their dog needs; and I appreciate knowing quirks and nuances that affect dog care. It is easy to maintain a standard for walks and play, but meds and mealtimes can vary a lot, and if an owner lets me know what they need, I will accommodate accordingly.
