I love dogs! And dogs love me :)
Pet care experience
In the past 23 years, I've grown more and more experienced handling dogs-- especially the big ones! I also hope to further hone my dog skills and to make sure all the dogs in my area who need walks can get them! I know how sad it is to see a pooch not get his or her walk in. But I'll make sure they at least get their much needed walk in for the day! A recent feat I've handled from my dog, Violet (a large not-so ferocious Rhodesian Ridgeback), was controlling her when she saw three bunnies and a cat... In flip flops. I don't know how else I can explain my skills if that doesn't. But over all, I love dogs and I hope yours can love me back! :)

Jane was a lifesaver! We had to find a house sitter due to a last minute business trip and Jane was quick to respond and super flexible! She was very responsible, gave us daily updates on our dog Rosie (with pictures) and even went above and beyond with some light house-cleaning! She will definitely be our first call next time we need to be out of town, thank you Jane!

I wake up in the morning, take my pup outside to go potty, feed them while I make breakfast, and make a plan for the day with a glass of tea next to my pup. In the afternoon I eat lunch, play with my dog for a bit before going on our walk through some local trails. I like to take my time and be out for over an hour while I let my dog sniff their newspaper for the day! We get back and relax with some water, and spend the rest of the afternoon with one another. Then in the evening, I feed them (around 5 usually) and make myself something to eat too. After I eat I take them outside to go potty and we do our nightly activities. I might watch a movie, crochet, read, sneak a few treats to my pup, etc. Then I get ready for bed and take them out one more time before going to bed and repeating the day. Once I get a better idea on your dog's personality and what they might need, I will adjust my daily schedule. What I described is what I do with my own dog. On weekends I like to take her on hikes around Index, or up north in Bellingham, daytrips to Whidbey, beach walks, and other fun trips.
Information Jane M. would like to know about your pet
I want to know about their temperament first and foremost. How to they handle other dogs, what they do when kids approach them at walks, etc. I also would like to know if there is a vet clinic I should take them to in case of something happening. Also, how many treats can I give them? :)
A typical day
I love to take them on hikes! Going up to Index is one of my favorites with Violet (my dog), or go on a beach walk in Edmonds or Whidbey! But I'll probably start off with places close to their home and I'll find a few places that are nice to picnic at the end of our walks :)

Availability
I am pretty free in the mornings and early afternoons. My partner is out of the house and I don't have a lot to do, so I either crochet or I go visit my mom and dog up in Monroe! Dog walking helps me go outside more, and sets a nice schedule for me.
