Pet care experience
I have always been around animals, especially dogs my whole life! I don't see them as animals, more extensions of my family! You can always count on a warm welcome no matter what kind of day you've had. My mother would always say that she knew it was bed time, because when I went to bed so did my cats and dogs..together with me! I never felt alone, hot.... yes, but never alone! And don't worry if you see me talking to myself, I'm simply talking-to my animal friends, because you know that they can understand, right? I don't know if you would call it a special skill or not, but talking and listening is part of loving and caring, which is what I do!I

We consider Sadie a family member and we were very discerning in selecting someone to care for her while we were away. Jane was everything we hoped for and more! Prior to her engagement, she met with us for the sole purpose of meeting Sadie and familiarizing with her. I have worked with Jane for the past 15 years, teaching side by side with her in a kindergarten classroom. She is very dependable, on time, honest, hard working, and kind. I highly recommend her for Rover.com as a dog sitter or dog walker. She is an animal lover who truly understands why pet owners are so attached to their animals. No particular favorite breeds, but subtle things like where to rub/pat them, or how close to get to them physically, would always be good to know. Some dogs just simply have trust issues and it's best to respect that, for all concerned. I also like to know what treats are acceptable due to health reasons etc.
A typical day
I would take the dog on his/her most comfortable walk and according to their age, play with their favorite toys etc. Unfortunately, I am restricted by apartment rules, so am not able, at this time, to have doggie friends over for the night.
