My wife and I are animal-lovers and have been pet owners for over 25 years! We understand should your pet ever need to be cared for by a stranger, he/she is deserving of a safe, fun-spirited atmosphere. We will work with you to ensure your pet has access to all of his/her needs and maintains all training regiments you value in your own home. We care deeply about balancing flexibility and boundaries when it comes to pet-setting! We are the enthusiastic owners of our own professional therapy dog, a 4-year-old golden retriever named Tiller! He loves spending time with other canine pals and does not discriminate against size/gender/type. Should you wish to book with us, please note that we will make sure your pup will be fed, walked, and played with according to the schedule you keep at your home. For example, with our own dog, he gets fed and walked before 7:30am, played with in the late afternoon, and fed and walked again before 8:30pm. We live in a two-bedroom townhome with plenty of space, and our backyard opens up to Edora Park! This resource provides a beautiful trail for walking and lots of spacious greenery for your animal to enjoy. Additionally, we frequent the Spring Creek dog park, so as long as you feel secure with allowing your animal to ride in the car, we would be happy to afford your pet the occasional play date with other dogs! Lastly, while I maintain a fairly rigid 7am-3pm schedule as a high school teacher, my wife's profession as a social worker allows for plenty of flexibility mid-day should your pup need additional attention and care during traditional business hours. We are available by phone 24/7 to address any concerns that may arise during your dog's stay.
