Hello I’m Janaye :) I’ve been with rover for 6.5 years now and the question I get most is “why I do it?” . All I have to say is I have a big heart ! One part is for my husband , one part is for my kids and the other part is for dogs big or small . My whole life I loved dogs, I could tell you and still can tell you all the dogs on my street growing up , names and the kind of breed . I am the person that will stop and try to grab a dog out of the street and find its home, I am the person who cries harder in movies when a dog dies over a person . My passion is dogs , I went to school to be a vet but couldn’t do it because my heart hurts too much putting dogs down even when I know they need it most . Dogs are part of the family , they protect you , lay with you when you cry , love on your kids ( if you have any ) and just want to be your best friend . So when I found out about rover I thought it was perfect and I get to love on the dogs that come into my home ! We’ve been so so blessed with each and every dog that has walked into our home they love my kids and my kids love them back. I also have formed relationships with their humans because that it also extremely important . My kids will ask me every day if a new dog is coming over and they’ll tell me who their favorite of the week is :) I want you to know that if you pick me , your dogs will be treated like one of my family members, they are more than just dogs they are your fur kids .
