I've had dogs my whole life and am a huge dog lover. I currently dog sit for several of my coworkers when they go on vacations. Your dog will enjoy days at the park, quality time, and lots of belly rubs. I'm great at catering to the needs of each pet in my care because no dog is the same. Dogs often naturally gravitate towards me and I haven't had issues with any dogs in the past. I am dog type(& size) and location flexible. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am available to overnight house sit in most locations around the Atlanta perimeter but will still consider clients outside the perimeter. We used Janai to pup and house sit our dogs and 2 cats while we were away for our wedding. It was such a relief and took a ton of stress off our shoulders knowing that our dogs and house were in great handsi. We got a bunch of cute videos and pictures and you could tell the dogs were having a great time with her! The house was in pristine condition when we returned and I would absolutely recommend Janai to watch you fur kids for you! She was so easy to deal with and always responsive when I messaged her. We will definitely be using her again!
Let me tell you a little about Janai. First off, she's great. Not just merely great, but in every sense of that word a person could be. She's got a great head on her shoulders, she's rational, caring, selfless, and she's got a huge heart. And because of all that, she's my go-to dog and house sitter. There hasn't been a time in the past year and a half (since I met Janai) that she hasn't been the person taking care of my dog, Kahlua. And on top of that, she's always been available and more than willing. She takes great care of my girl, sends me regular updates and the perfect amount of pictures and videos of them two of them, and keep in mind this way was before she even started her Wag business. Kahlua is always so, so happy to see her and I can just tell when I get back that she's been so loved and cared for. My dog is also a service dog in training, therefore she loves being around someone 24/7, and Janai literally takes her everywhere with her, to eat, to shop, any car ride. I know Kahlua loves that and I appreciate that so much. Janai also takes great care of my apartment, and she's been with me through multiple apartments. It's always so clean when I get back and my sheets are always washed AND put back on the bed. She also never fails to leave a sweet note about her stay and her time with Kahlua! It's so fun to read when I get back home and just such a nice added thing to top it off that helps explain her character, as well. All of that to say, my recommendation means very little compared to my dog's recommendation. Dogs have a great sense of a person's character, and Kahlua, or Lu, the nickname Janai gave her and has now stuck, loves her more than I could tell you. We love her so much!
Janai is a wonderful pet sitter - I highly recommend her! She stayed at our house with our 5 month old puppy for eleven nights while we were out of the country, which really eased our minds. Our puppy was pretty new to our house, and Janai helped reinforce new routines and ease the transition. Our puppy was very content when we returned, although she definitely missed Janai!
I booked Janai to watch Bella for a few weekends while I was doing a lot of traveling during the summer. Bella is very shy and stand offish but Janai was able to make her very comfortable before I left for my trip! She was willing to come by and meet Bella first! She sent lots of photos of her and Bella hanging out and was so sweet and personable! When I got back in town Bella was so excited and I could tell they had a great time! Definitely will be reaching out to her again!
