About Jana: I am a young professional who is experienced with many breeds of dogs (from Pugs to English Springer Spaniels) but I especially love bully breeds! I love bullies of all shapes and sizes and I have years of experience caring for them. I understand the special needs your pit bull or bulldog has because I know what it is like to worry about wrinkle cleaning, BSL, eye care and pills or supplements when leaving your fur baby in the care of someone else. I pride myself on being knowledgeable in pack behavior and vigilant at supervising play to prevent aggressive behavior and dangerous situations when walking, exercising or playing with your pet(s). Boarding: My rescue dog Nova was born with a non-contagious autoimmune disorder that makes her extra-susceptible to catching illnesses from other dogs. Because of her special needs, I am unable to board any dogs in my home. While I am unable to host your dog(s) in my home, I would be more than happy to take care of your pet at your residence while you are away. Care: While your pet is in my care, their health and happiness are my #1 priority. I am a runner and a firm believer in an exercise schedule for my pets, so I would love to take your dog out with me for a walk or jog to keep them feeling happy and healthy. If you have an elderly or special needs dog, I am able to adjust my schedule to fit their needs. I am very experienced with pills and medicines. I've dog-sat for dogs (and cats!) requiring insulin shots, healing from surgery, and very elderly dogs requiring assistance getting outside or struggling with incontinence issues. Give me a try and I’ll make sure your pets are happy and comfortable in your home while you’re away. Typical day: My husband and I do both work full-time, but our schedules are flexible and we are routinely able to provide potty and exercise breaks for your dogs every 4 hours during the day. During a typical day, I would go to your residence before work (sometime between 6-8AM) to feed, exercise and give any necessary medications to your pet. Then over lunch (between 11-1PM), I would make a trip to your house to allow your dog to relieve himself or herself. After work (sometime between 4:30-6:30PM), I would head to your home to spend a few hours with your dog to provide exercise, dinner and give any necessary medications to your pet. If requested, I can stay overnight in your home with your pet. (Note: Meet and greets in your home are required before overnight stays in your home can be booked.)
