Hello, I am Jan. My sister, Gail and I live in a big home with our four babies. Gail is a Special Education teacher for DISD and I am retired. We have a quite colorful group of darling babies that we adore. First there is Savannah, the leader. She is a fifteen year old black and tan long hair Dachshund....too smart and still plays like a puppy! Second is Kate, the little black and tan smooth coated Dachshund that is paralyzed. Seven years ago a disc ruptured and we had the emergency surgery at Trinity Mills. Unfortunately, she couldn't walk, but the surgeon saved her life, thankfully. She scoots around the house and plays with her sisters. We have a custom wheelchair for walks....so cute and such a joy!. Third we have Ireland. She is a darling Shih Tzu mix that Gail rescued four years ago. She had knee surgery about a year ago and while her knee is great, she is deaf. Gail said no problem, we'll teach her sign language! She knows many signs now and the others go and get her when it is time to eat...precious. Last, but not least we have Annie. She is a Bassett, long haired dachshund mix that Gail rescued a year ago that was left on the side of the road. We nursed her back to health and she is so loving and cute. All of our babies are always up to date on heart worm medicine, flea preventative, shots, blood work, etc. Their Vet is Dr. Lori McKelroy in Rowlett. I am home all day to take care of these precious little "people" that we adore. We would love to invite your baby into our loving home for hugs, walks, play time and treats. I am available for Doggy Daycare. My puppies and I would love to welcome your baby during the day while you are busy. I love to cook and make homemade chicken jerky....a real fan favorite! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know all about your little darling. I would love to stay in your home and care for your puppy dogs while you are away. I retired a few years ago after working as a Sales Rep with the same company for 25 years. I am background checked and have references as to my good character and love of dogs. I care for special needs dogs on a daily basis, so I am very knowledgeable of numerous health issues. Baby sitting in your home includes spending the night and a great portion of the day. This service is provided for the baby that just wants to stay home. I also provide care in your home that does not include a sleepover for a negotiable fee depending on your babies' needs. Please contact me if I can be of assistance while you are unable to be home with your baby. Why I love dog sitting I have had a dog, literally all of my life. Hans, a standard Doxie was my first dog ,and he lived to be 21! Then I went on to Renee, my poodle, Samantha, my Lhasa, Savannah, my longhaired Doxie and my little Kate. About my yard We have a fenced backyard. It has a pool. I will always be outside with your dog on a leash while all of the dogs sniff and explore. My experience administering medication Yes.
