Pet care experience
I have owned kittens and cats for twenty-nine years. I play with them, cuddle them, brush them, feed them, administer medicine like insulin and clean their litter box. I love dogs but never had one of my own. I can let your dog out for a potty break and play with him or her.

Jan did an great job taking care of our senior cat, Thomas! She took the time to acquaint herself with him during our meet and greet, which put our mind at ease when we left for our trip. She sent great updates and pictures, and our home was in great shape when we returned. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!
This was my first time using a pet service while away on vacation and I was admittedly a bit apprehensive. However, Jan was professional and compassionate; she took the time from the first meet-and-greet and on to care for our pet and home, and sent regular check ins that made me feel confident our little Oliver was being taken care of.

Since I am not an dog parent, I prefer dogs that don’t pull on the leash when walking and are generally well trained and behaved.
A typical day
Whatever the dog’s favorite toy or activity is, I will do that. Frisbee. Fetch. Catch. Tug of war, etc. I will also let them know they are loved and will pet them.

Availability
When I worked, I had a family member visit my cats twice a day. Some people think cats are independent and don’t need company daily. I disagree, they miss their human Mom of Dad when they are alone. I am a retiree, so my time is 100% my own.
