Pet care experience
I would love to welcome your pet into our home! I have previous experience with all sorts of dog temperaments. Your pet will receive lots of love and attention! I will be available to give as many updates as you would like while your pet is here. This will be his or her home away from home! Not only do I have personal pet experience, I have also volunteered at a local shelter and have done dog transport on occasion. I will listen to what your needs are for your pet and do my best to care for him or her. You can be rest assured that your pet will be safe and happy in my care. Your pet will rarely or never be left alone while he or she is our guest!

My dogs love staying with at Jan's house. I know they are well cared for and have plenty to do around to keep them busy. I love receiving the pictures to let me know how they are getting along.
Jan kept Jack in the past and he loves visiting her and her husband. This trip she kept my new adoptee, Frida, who is a little shy and has behavioral signs of past abuse especially when she is startled. She has been slow to warm to some people but she loves Jan and her family. This was Frida's "maiden Rover voyage" and it was a success! The pictures prove it! I will definitely be boarding Jack and Frida wiith Jan again.
Takes good care of my baby girl and shares pictures thru out the day.
Jan is always SO amazing! My babies were a little bad this time and she is just patient and loving with them. It's no wonder she stays booked!

NOTE: Please be sure your pet is up to date on all pertinent vaccines and flea and tick preventative. Please bring records with you for the stay. Please fill out detailed care information for your pet so that I can keep them on their schedule as much as possible, which will reduce any stress for them. Some things that I would love to know are as follows: 1) Where does your dog sleep? 2) How much and how many times/day does your dog eat? 3) Is your dog ever crated/kenneled? If so, when? 4) What do you do with your dog when left alone? 4) Does your dog get along with other dogs?
A typical day
PLEASE NOTE: All initial Meet & Greets will be in a public setting for safety reasons. While I understand the owner's concern in seeing where their furkid(s) will be staying, I am happy to send photos in addition to the ones already on my profile. In addition, I may be caring for a pet that does not do well with other dogs and I have to take that into consideration. Thank you for understanding. In addition, I am happy to take one family at a time if need be, if your dog(s) don't do well with others or for any reason. However, there may be an overlap of up to a day/night where I will have to just keep some fur kids separated. An extra charge of $20 per night, per dog will be added on for this service at the time of booking. Finally, Rover charges by the night, while I charge for a 24-hour period. If a stay is planned to go over, I will adjust the rate accordingly.
