Pet care experience
I have loved animals my entire life and I have been a positive force free dog trainer for the last 20 years. I am a graduate of Purdue University’s Dog Course. I look forward to meeting you and your dog (pets) and helping you meet there needs. I own a border collie and a senior chihuahua. Have helped owners teach their dog or pup basic manners. I have also helped pet owners change problem behaviors. I enjoy chasing geese off golf courses with my Border Collie and teaching her tricks. My little guy and I go for slow walks and enjoy cuddling.. I hope that I will be your choice for giving your pet a break. I can provide your dog exercise if you want him/ her to have a walk or a potty break while also providing attention and giving medicine if needed.

Jan was an Angel and so patient with our little Max. She provided daily pictures and updates which was so comforting. She treated Max as if he were part of the family. We are so grateful for her and anyone would be tremendously lucky if they were able to get her for dog sitting ?
This was my first time using Rover and boarding our 4 month old puppy. This experience couldn’t have been better thanks to Jan. Our puppy was in great hands and she gave us picture and video updates, as well as checked in to let us know how he was doing. Thanks Jan!
Texas seemed at home with Jan. I could tell Texas was taken care of like one of Jan's own dogs.

I have a six foot fenced in yard. I allow my dogs and therefore your dog to rest on my furniture. Little dogs can sleep in bed with me if they do at their own homes.

I would like to know if he is dog and people friendly. If I can offer treats. If he has any physical limitations or health concerns. If he plays fetch. I need pets that visit my home to not have vaccines in close proximity (less that 6 weeks) to staying with me to try and avoid vaccine shed to my dogs.
A typical day
I would walk the dog in his own neighborhood. If he plays fetch and they have a fenced in yard I would happily play fetch with him.
