Pet care experience
I’ve been dog sitting for quite some time, and it is a true pleasure to provide friends and neighbors with the assurance that their pets are well taken care of. One reason I love being a sitter is knowing that when a dog is with me that’s one less dog cooped up in a kennel! My sitting experience has been largely with senior dogs, and I’ve taken care of abused dogs as well. So please let me know what your dog's needs and history are like. The best part of being a dog sitter is the love they give me in return. I've taken care of dogs most of my adult life and it's the best job I've ever had! Safety is my number one priority and I'll always be watching out for your pet's well being. I will follow all of your instructions and will take care of your animal just like you do. A lot of the dogs I care for are older, so if you have a senior friend who needs care, I am your best bet! I take them outside often and make sure they have lots fresh water. If they sleep with the client, they can also sleep with me. I call, text, or email to let the client know how things are and to reassure them. I promise to love and protect your pet while they are in my care.

Jan has been our petsitter for over a year. We have 2 dogs and a cat. When we come home from a trip I can immediately tell that they have been well-cared-for because they are happy to see us, but not starved for our attention. If they are sick, Jan calls me and I have had her contact the vet for help. She is concerned for their well-being and does what is needed to get them well. When I leave them in Jan's care, I feel I can trust that they are in good hands.
We refer to Jan as Auntie Jan because she cares for our sweet little dog Mailee just like she is family. Mailee loves her and Mailee is very shy. She also a picky eater but Jan gets her to eat and play!! We never worry at all for her well being when Auntie Jan is at our home. Jan is dependable, kind and caring. Your pets will love her!!!!
Jan has been our favorite cat sitter for years. She stays in our home while we are traveling, and loves on the cat many times a day. Many of our friends who are dog owners have also used her services over and over again. Besides that, she's a very nice person, and 100% competent and trustworthy. We highly recommend her as a pet sitter.

They definitely would have several potty breaks outside, eat breakfast and dinner, lots of play time and exercise with toys. If they want we would share quiet time on the sofa listening to music or watching animal planet together.
