In addition to over six years experience caring for dogs through Rover, I have been a huge animal lover & animal rights advocate my whole life. I grew up with two mini poodles that we saved from a shelter while they were on death row. In high school, I walked all of our neighbors dogs, and took care of cats while they were out of town. When I moved out of home, I promised myself that I would dedicate my life to caring for dogs and other animals, especially rescues. EXPERIENCED with caring for dogs & cats with special needs! In college I spent time volunteering to help homeless animals at SPCALA - including feeding, playing with, and walking dogs of all sizes & breeds. I love supporting local dog rescues. I’m also Cat & Dog FIRST AID & CPR Certified by ProPetHero! Spending every day caring for dogs is a dream come true for me, and I am so grateful to be a part of Rover! Your baby will be loved and cared for as if they were our own, so please let me know their usual routine & schedule - I want them to be as comfortable as possible during their stay. I will be home with your dog full-time, so I can send updates as often as you request. I work closely with families providing pictures, videos and even FaceTime or Skype calls. Your messages are promptly replied to and you can always reach me personally to discuss your pet. I will do whatever it takes to give you peace of mind and to be sure that your beloved pet is safe and happy. Our home is doggie paradise. My partner David & I live in spacious home in Huntington Beach, in a safe neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac, about a 5 minute walk to Central Park. We have a fully fenced backyard (mostly grass, with a brick patio), so there's lots of room to run and play. We have dogs sleep with us in our bedroom unless you request otherwise. We're very active - we walk, run, bike or skateboard with the dogs at the park most days, and also love spending time at the beach. We also love playing inside and just snuggling up on the couch with the dogs, lots of belly rubs included of course! We would love to bring your dog with us on all of our adventures. For longer stays, I'll bathe your pup before its time to go home! I kindly request that dogs be current on vaccinations (including Bordetella) & be on a current flea prevention, for our dogs' safety and for the safety of future guests!
