Hello! I am an animal loving part-time graduate student who will treat your pet like family! I am currently available for walks, drop-in visits, doggie daycare, and house sitting. Boarding at my house may be possible if your pup gets along with mine. I have a 6 month old labradoodle who is very sweet and a potential playmate for your pup! I love dogs, walking, running, and hiking and will adapt to what your dog needs. I'm also happy to care for other pets as well, although my main experience is with dogs and cats. Each pet is unique and I am dedicated to giving each one the specific care they deserve and making them as comfortable as possible while you are away. My experience includes volunteering at local Humane Society, rescuing a highly anxious Labrador Retriever/Springer Spaniel mix with severe resource guarding issues, and living with/caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years. I have cared for puppies, dogs on medications, dogs with special behavioral needs, and high energy dogs needing copious amounts of exercise. I am comfortable assisting with training needs while I care for your pup. I am respectful of pet rules in your house and will always check with your before doing new activities. WALKS or DROP INS: Slow walks with lots of sniffs or fast runs—it’s up to your pooch. I can take care of feeding, potty breaks, and scritches! DOGGIE DAYCARE/BOARDING If your dog gets along with my young pup, they can play together in our fully fenced yard. We’ll also take walks along the Ottawa River and I will give your dog as much exercise as they need and plenty of snuggles and love! HOUSE SITTING: My current schedule is flexible, and I am able to stay at your house full-time (or less) if you prefer. -Available to stay full time, never leaving pets alone for more than 4 hours -Will give your dog daily walks/runs—as much or little exercise as they need. -Will update you daily (or more) with photos via text. -Will never leave a dog unattended outside in your yard. -Can take care of basic house needs, such as putting out trash/recycling, watering plants, etc
